Bens Thai AS far as I am aware this restaurant is closed
London Street Brasserie Excellent food and service. Would absolutely recommend it!
ASK If there was the opportunity for zero stars, then that's what I'd give ASK. We were treated terribly here, and the food wasn't much better either. After ordering a bottle of wine by pointing to it on the menu and eventually spelling it out for the waitress who couldn't understand us, we were brought the incorrect bottle. The waitress poured three glasses and when we pointed out that it was not the one we ordered (although we said we'd be happy to keep it) she angrily removed the bottle and the three poured glasses from our table and then proceeded to pour the wine BACK into the bottle (discreetly, mind you so people wouldn't see) and return the bottle to the fridge for the next poor people who would order it. We were made to feel as though this was our fault and should have walked out sooner had we known how poorly we were about to be treated.
Standard Nepalese Tandoori A most disappointing meal. Visiting Reading for a training course from London and Bedford I hope this is not the bench mark of Indian Restaurants in this area. This is in my opinion is over priced and under performing.
Fish pakora as a starter was reminiscent of a breaded piece of fish from the frozen food section in your local supermarket.
Vegetarian sizzler was a plate of streamed large pieces of vegetables. I had a kema nan which was like a pizza. The rest of the meal was not much better.
The meal was bland and to top it all the beer was flat.
